WORCESTER'S Monday Night Club members have been showing off their talent to prove they have the X Factor.

The club held the talent competition for everyone that attends the weekly meetings.

Helen Gill, one of the organisers, said there was so much talent at the club everyone really enjoyed performing on stage.

The winner of the show was Owen Prince and the two runners up Chloe Draper and Sarah Field.

Simon Geraghty, deputy leader of Worcestershire County Council, visited the club for the show.

He said: "I was delighted to be able to help The Monday Night Club with a contribution from my locally determined Divisional Fund.

"When I visited last week it was great to see just how popular this evening has become which is a credit to the efforts put in by all those behind the project.

"Everyone enjoyed the evening and it is obviously a much-needed facility in Worcester."

The social club for adults with learning difficulties and autistic spectrum disorders meets every Monday in Barbourne Ex-Services Club in Worcester to dance, sing, socialise, drink, play pool and meet new friends.
