THE second stage of plans for part of a housing estate to be built in Salwarpe have been waved through unanimously by planners.
Councillors at Wychavon District Council planning committee gave the go ahead for the new homes on land between Roman Way and Copcut Lane in Salwarpe with officers being given the power to see whether there would be 62 or 63 homes.
It's the second stage of plans for the section of the estate, which included approval of the roads, open space, footpaths and cycle links on the site.
Councillor Tony Miller said he wanted assurance the impact on highways would be considered.
And Cllr Audrey Steel added that ideally more than four bungalows would be included in the site.
But Cllr Ken Jennings said he was happy with the plans.
"This is a small part of a very large site. No concerns over this at all. It seems to be a perfectly satisfactory and ordinary housing development as part of a large housing site."
