HEARTLESS thieves stole a wooden memorial bench in Stourport set up by the son of a woman who died earlier this year on Monday evening.
The wooden love bench in the small memorial garden in Manor Road was taken some time between 6.30pm and 9.30pm on September 29.
Police have appealed for any witnesses to the theft or anyone with any information to contact them.
Officer in charge of the case PC Hunt said: “The item stolen in this case is of incredible sentimental to the victim and her family and as such we are very keen to hear from any member of the public who may know of its whereabouts.”
