UNCOVER the secrets of old Worcestershire at a map workshop next month.
An Explore Maps course takes place on Monday, November 3 at The Hive in Worcester, allowing people to examine a range of old maps to find out more about local history and archaeology.
Worcestershire County Council's Archive and Archaeology Service is providing the maps for the course, which runs from 10am to 3pm and costs £12 to attend.
Paul Hudson, learning and outreach manager, said: "Maps are fascinating and are very visual so always attract attention. In this workshop we'll help people discover more about the many types of maps which we have and how to search our collections so people can get the most out of them."
Cllr Lucy Hodgson, cabinet member for localism and communities, said: "This is an interesting way of uncovering information about our past and the workshops are always popular with local people."
