RESIDENTS all across the district of Wychavon will have the chance to meet their councillors in the coming weeks.

Wychavon District Council has announced a number of upcoming 'Meet your Council' events giving residents and businesses the chance to talk face to face with their ward councillor.

The next event will take place in the Pinvin ward on Tuesday, November 4, when Cllr Liz Tucker will be visiting businesses in Throckmorton, Pinvin and Lower Moor between 10.30am and 4pm.

On Friday, November 7, Cllrs David Lee and Audrey Steel will start the day meeting residents at 10.30am outside The Forge Shop, High Street, in the Inkberrow ward.

This will be followed by visits to a number of businesses in Radford, Inkberrow and Stockwood until 4pm.

Councillors from Droitwich central will meet residents on Wednesday, November 12.

Cllr Glenise Noyes is holding a residents’ surgery at the Doverdale Arms, Stalls Farm Road, Droitwich, between 12pm and 1pm.

She will also be visiting various businesses on the North Street Industrial Estate between 10am and 12 noon, and then from 2pm until 4pm.

The following day, Thursday, November 13, in Hartlebury Cllr Nigel Dowty will be outside the Post Office between 10am and noon.

Then he will be meeting business and from 3pm until 4.30pm he will be visiting Summerfield residents.

For Droitwich south west Cllrs Tom Noyes and Graham Beale will be outside Witton Post Office in Worcester Road from 10am until 11am and then moving on to visit various businesses.

And for the south Bredon Hill area on Friday, November 28, Cllr Adrian Darby is holding a surgery at the Star Inn, Elmley Road, Ashton, from 10am until 11am.

After the surgery he will be visiting businesses in Beckford and in the afternoon the Overbury Business Centre.
