PEOPLE are being asked to get into the spirit of the season and donate to a homeless drive taking place on Sunday (December 28).
Donations of soup, blankets and warm clothing are still needed for Help the Homeless at Christmas which will take place on the car park next to Maggs Day Centre, Deansway.
Joanne Nightingale, aged 36, was homeless for six years and has organised the drive which aims to help more than 50 homeless people.
She has since transformed her life and the donations will be distributed by volunteers in Worcester, Gloucester and Cheltenham simultaneously at 5.30pm.
Anyone who can help by donating items should contact Tony Harris by emailing gollum5753@hotmail.co.uk.
