POLICE forces across the country are appealing for help to find a man wanted in connection with a number of sexual offences.

West Yorkshire Police and Norfolk Constabulary are trying to track down Adam Peter Day, 39, who is wanted in connection with the offences in both areas.

Day, originally from Leeds, has connections with Norfolk, Leeds and Worcester- he was last known to be in the Brighton area.

Detective Superintendent Pat Twiggs, head of crime for Leeds District, said: "West Yorkshire Police and Norfolk Constabulary have been conducting extensive enquiries to trace Adam Day and that work is ongoing.

"It suspected he is living a transient lifestyle and working in cash in hand jobs.

"We would like to hear from anyone who knows his current whereabouts or who has any information that could assist in tracing him."

He has been wanted since he failed to answer bail having been arrested last year in connection with offences related to indecent images and a sexual assault.

He is described as white, about 5ft 7ins tall, and of average build. He has short brown hair and a goatee beard, blue eyes and is right-handed.

Anyone with any information that could assist in tracing him is asked to contact Detective Constable Mark Howorth at Leeds Child Safeguarding Unit on 0113 385 9474 or via 101.
