AN exhibition of “very bright and colourful” art will help raise money for charity.

Work by professional artist Judy Foulsham will be displayed at St John’s Library in Worcester for the whole of April and 10 per cent of any sales will be donated to Acorns Children’s Hospice.

A special event including a raffle, tea and cakes will take place on Tuesday (March 31) from 3pm to 6pm to get the fundraising off to good start and to launch the exhibition.

Ms Foulsham said: “I feel passionate about Acorns Children’s Hospice so it is great to be able to help.

“My artwork is very bright and colourful and features a lot of flowers and landscapes, ranging from poppy fields and sunflowers to sunsets and seascapes.

“A lot of my art is local as well with paintings of Worcester Cathedral and the Malvern Hills, for example.”

The exhibition of work in watercolours, acrylics and pastels will be open from 9am to 5pm on Monday, Wednesdays, Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays and 9am to 7pm on Tuesdays.

Ms Foulsham also teaches regular art classes on Monday mornings at Broadwas village hall and on Wednesdays and Thursdays at The Cob House near Martley.
