WE indulged ourselves for our November meeting by having a festive supper at the Priory Cafe on Navigation Wharf, Stoke Prior. This proved to be a first-class choice of venue, with the proprietors offering a warm welcome in charming surroundings and a fine meal. Ruth Bottomley, our chairman, was dressed as the host in Cabaret - extremely smart in white shirt, black trousers and top hat - and she had prepared a programme of nostalgic music to set the mood. A happy time was had by all, with a generous draw providing just about everyone with a present.
Please note that we do not meet in January, so the first meeting of 2008 will be on Tuesday, February 12 at 7.30pm in Wychbold Village Hall. We send warm greetings to all our friends and supporters.
