FOOD lovers are in for a treat when a pair of Worcester business owners take to the kitchen to raise money for charity.

Clare and Robert O’Neill, the owners of O’Neill Kitchens in Sidbury, will be cooking a tasty three-course lunch at the Talbot in Kempsey later this month for children’s bereavement charity Noah’s Ark.

Everyone is invited to the event, which starts at noon and runs until 2pm on Friday, September 12, and there will also be the chance to win some prizes, including a holiday to Spain.

Mrs O’Neill said they had been asked to raise the money through their company for the Noah’s Ark Trust, which helps bereaved children in the two counties.

She said: “It is a also a way for business people in Worcester to meet each other as well as raising funds for a good cause.”

The menu will include soup followed by chicken breast in a rich sauce served with vegetables, and cheesecake for dessert.

Tickets cost £25 are available by calling the trust on 01905 745735 or Mr and Mrs O’Neill on 01905 21837.

Noah’s Ark is currently expanding its services to help more children and their families who have suffered the bereavement of a loved one, and are looking for a property they can rent for a reasonable rate. Your Worcester News has teamed up with the charity to help raise funds for the expansion.
