A LIST of roads that have closed across Worcestershire due to flooding has been updated by the police.

In Worcester, the A443 Hylton Road has been closed because temporary flood barriers are on the edge of the carriageway. A diversion along Henwick Road, St John’s, has been put in place.

The A4103 at Bransford, near the Fox Inn, is flooded and not passable, while diversions have been set up on the A442 near the industrial estate at Hampton Lovatt, near Droitwich, because of flooding.

The B4211 Hanley Road, Upton-upon-Severn, is closed.

Elsewhere the A443 Eardiston to Newnham Bridge and Tenbury road remains closed between Tenbury Wells to Eardiston.

Rhyse Lane at Lower Rochford, near Newnham Bridge, is now passable and work is set to get underway to clear some mud from road.

The A456 Newnham Bridge is open after the road was jetted.

Fladbury Bridge, near Evesham, is shut.

In Wychbold, police said they still had unconfirmed reports that Ford Lane and Pound Lane are closed.

Suffolk Lane in Abberley is passable.

The Buraston to Aston Bank road, near Knighton-on-Teme, is an unconfirmed closure.

The B4197 Knightwick to Martley road at Ankerdine was said to be one foot deep in water about 5am but it was receding.
