OUR annual meeting is in October and our president welcomed members to this meeting.

Christmas shopping trips to Bath and Touchwood are in November.

The annual card concert at Kidderminster is on Friday, December 5.

An invitation has been received from St Peter’s WI to their December Christmas party meeting. Margaret our secretary has recently visited Denman College and was surprised and delighted to win a competition for a two day stay at the college.

We hold a monthly competition at our meetings with points for entering and winning and the overall winner this year was Janet Simmons who was presented with her prize.

The president thanked the secretary, treasurer and committee for their work during this past year. A special thank you was given to Judith who books all the speakers. The secretary then gave an account of all the activities and speakers we have had during the year. The treasurer handed out copies of the balance sheet which shows we more or less break even over the year but have a healthy balance. Our next meeting is Tuesday, November 18 at 7.30pm at Whittington Village Hall when the speaker is Mrs Phillippa Charlesworth on Fairtrade and Kenya.
