A WORCESTER student who admitted drug trafficking wants to go on a skiing holiday before he is sentenced.

Thomas Green, aged 19, of Chelmsford Drive, Ronkswood, Worcester, pleaded guilty at Worcester Crown Court to having cocaine intending to supply others.

His barrister, Kate Brunner, applied for him to be granted bail to go on a skiing holiday booked last July.

She said Green, of good character, would be supervised by his family and his father had entered into a £5,000 surety.

Prosecutor Simon Phillips said there was no objection to the application but Judge Alistair McCreath said he would consider the matter over the weekend and give his decision on Monday. He renewed bail until then.

Green will be sentenced in February after the trial of Allan Britton, aged 39, of Duke Street, Wolverhampton, who was in the dock with Green and denied possessing and supplying cocaine.
