DROITWICH Air Cadets joined forces with the town’s Royal British Legion when they became an affiliated member.
The Mayor of Droitwich Councillor Maureen Lawley presented the award to both the cadets and the legion during a special ceremony.
The award represents the close ties the groups have and shows the younger direction for the future of the legion.
The aim of the affiliation is to work together to raise funds and support events organised by each group’s members.
The Droitwich Royal British Legion is based in Salwarpe Road, while the air cadets are based at the cadet centre behind the community hall in Heritage Way.
