A THREE-month-old baby has been taken to hospital following a three car smash on the M5 in Worcestershire.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the slip road off the M5 between Strensham Services and the M50 shortly after 1.20pm today.
Two ambulance crews attended along with staff based at Midlands Air Ambulance at Strensham, who came by car as the location of the incident was so near to their base.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “A woman from one car had neck pain and was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
"A man in his forties from a second car had back pain and was taken to the same hospital.
“A three month old baby from the third car appeared uninjured, but as a precaution was taken, along with the baby’s mother, by Midlands Air Ambulance staff by car to the same hospital.”
