EGGHEADS are invited to puzzle out an Easter mystery – and raise money for charity at the same time.
Staff at the Daisychain Benevolent Fund clothes shop in St John’s, Worcester, are challenging customers to guess how many chocolate Easter eggs are in the bowl.
Punters pay a £1 a go, with all the cash going to the Midlands Air Ambulance.
Customers are banned from touching the eggs and there’s a layer of cellophane to stop any stray fingers.
The guessing game begins on Monday, March 15, ending on Friday, March 26.
“The only clue I will give is that we’ve got some eggs with little chicks hatching out, and they need to be counted,” said manager Lynne Shergold.
Customers will write down their guess and their phone number and the winner – or the nearest guess – will take home the eggs. Chocolate eggs will also be awarded for second and third nearest guesses.
