HUNDREDS of visitors to a Worcestershire tourist attraction travelled back in time to meet a family from the 1770s.
Visitors were invited to Hanbury Hall, near Droitwich, to meet the Vernon family and enjoy the splendour of their beautiful home.
Floral displays were placed around the house and the dining room table was laid for a traditional wedding breakfast.
The house was built in 1701 by lawyer Thomas Vernon, MP for Worcester.
The interiors at the National Trust property are a mix of traditional designs and Gothic architecture, and the house boasts 20 acres of gardens and 400 acres of parks, including an orchard.
