A WOMAN who has written poetry since childhood has had her first book published.
Petrolhead is a collection of poems written by Jenny Hope, an administrator at the University of Worcester’s disability and dyslexia service.
Ms Hope, aged 42, from Martley, near Worcester, said she was delighted to finally see her work in print. She said: “I have had poems published in magazines before but this is my first book. It’s really strange to see it in print but I’m really pleased.”
Ms Hope graduated with a BA Hons in creative writing from the University of Birmingham and Petrolhead has endorsements from Roz Goddard and David Hart, both former Birmingham Poet Laureates.

The book is also on sale at Waterstones in Worcester.
