Princess party marks guiding centenary

9:00am Monday 22nd March 2010

RAINBOWS from around Worcester celebrated the guiding centenary with a princess party.

Yesterday’s party at Oldbury Park School in St John's, Worcester, pictured, gave Rainbows the chance to play games, decorate 100 cup cakes, make jewellery and sing happy birthday to girlguiding.

Division commissioner Diana Blockley said everyone had a fantastic day.

“The Rainbows have really enjoyed themselves and joined in all of the activities on offer,” she said. “It has been great to see so many of them here with smiling faces having fun. Thank you to their leaders who have made the day possible and have given the girls the opportunity to see other Rainbows from Worcester division.”
