A TRIO of cyclists from Worcester are in the middle of a gruelling charity bike ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats.
Ed Brown, aged 40, Rob Brandwood, 41, and Nick Ace, 40, who all work in finance, set off on Thursday and hope to complete the mammoth 874-mile journey (1,407 km) in just 10 days.
The team stopped off in Worcester to meet family and friends at the Diglis House Hotel in Severn Street on Sunday.
The team is hoping to raise a total of £5,000 for two charities – Acorn’s Children’s Hospice in Worcester and the NSPCC.
So far, they have already collected £3,333 and are looking for further support and sponsorship.
