TWO teenagers have admitted possessing knives and an imitation firearm in Worcester.

Callum Reginbeau Bradford of Hanley Castle, pleaded guilty to possessing a machete with a 56cm blade in Timberdine Avenue, Worcester, on Saturday, February 11.

John Cary of Orchard Way, Leigh, near Malvern, pleaded guilty to possessing a stanley knife on the same day in the same street.

Both 17-year-olds also admitted possessing an imitation firearm – a BB gun – with intent to cause Liam Harford fear of violence.

Their case was adjourned for them to appear at youth court today for sentence.

Meanwhile, Alan Waggott, of Landsdowne Court, Priory Road, Malvern, gave no indication of plea to one charge of an imitation firearm – a BB gun – with intent to cause Liam Harford fear of violence.

The 30-year-old gave no indication of plea and will next appear at crown court on Tuesday, June 5.

He admitted a separate charge of drink-driving at an earlier hearing.

Waggott was caught driving on February 11 on Timberdine Avenue at more than twice the limit with 77mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath – the legal limit is 35mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath.

He was banned from driving for 20 months, fined £350 and ordered to pay costs of £85 and a £15 victim surcharge.

He was offered the opportunity to complete a drink-driving course.
