EVERY child at a Worcester primary school has helped to create a special tile mural to mark Arts Week.
The mural, which is mounted in Fort Royal Community Primary School’s entrance hall, was painted by the school’s 162 pupils, with help from Malvern’s Green Frog Pottery.
Called Our Community, the mural represents land, rail and water, which are all part of the Wyld’s Lane school’s logo.
Susan Harrison, Fort Royal’s Arts Week co-ordinator, said: “All the children had great fun painting their tile for the mural and it has really brightened up the entrance hall.
"It has been greatly admired by everyone who sees it."
Green Frog Pottery owner Carrie Wright said: “The mural looks fantastic.
"It was great that every child contributed and has a permanent reminder of their time at the school.”
