Samaritan thanked for coming to woman’s aid

A WORCESTER woman wants to thank the good samaritan who helped her when she collapsed late at night as she was walking home.

Louise Ford, aged 22, of Ronkswood, was walking back from a friend’s house when she collapsed and fell to the pavement in Chelmsford Drive just after midnight on Tuesday, June 12.

She was unconscious for almost an hour and cannot really remember the incident other than her confusion at waking up to find paramedics tending her at the roadside.

“I don’t know what happened. I was just round the corner from my house and I collapsed. I know that someone called the ambulance but by the time it arrived they had gone.

“I just want to say thank you to whoever it was because it was quiet and I was very lucky that they found me and did the right thing.”

Miss Ford said she did not know why she had collapsed and is now awaiting the results of a blood test.
