I am standing to offer a no-cuts alternative to voters. The bankers caused the financial crisis, not workers, but all the establishment parties want workers to pay the price through 10 years of falling living standards. This is despite the richest people in Britain having over £500 billion of wealth. The capitalist parties are all the same, as an example, the rail industry in which I work in the McNulty report was commissioned by Labour and has been embraced by this government. It proposes job cuts, pay cuts, pension cuts and service cuts but higher fares. I ask trade unionists and others to join with the Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition in opposing austerity whoever imposes it.
