I’ve lived in Worcester for the past 10 years. I have been heavily involved in local voluntary work with Rotary and other local charities. I have spent time working with colleagues on local issues, so I am very much aware of the key concerns. Money is tight so I whole heartedly support the current freeze in council tax and the investment in the local economy to help provide jobs for young people. I will also support a further council tax freeze next year together with a reduction in city centre car parking charges and for those of a more energetic persuasion, the provision of a new swimming pool for Worcester is high on my list of needs. I am prepared to work hard to deliver those things that are important to residents wellbeing.
