Aldi is fast becoming the nation’s go-to shop for all things quirky, and this week has been no exception.
In the run up to Christmas, the supermarket chain has revealed it is releasing an advent calendar filled with wine.
Every day in December will offer the lucky opener a new mini bottle for an evening indulgence in the lead up to the big day with a mix of red, white, rose and fizz.
Unsurprisingly, excited social media users have been quick to flock to sites in the droves.

An Aldi spokesperson told a curious Twitter user: “The wine advent calendar comes on on 14th November and all will be revealed then.”
However, the Evening Times has learned it will be priced at £49.99, and will indeed be available in stores nationwide and online from November 14.
