A PENGE playgroup held the official opening of new play facilities to mark the new term.
Royston playgroup, in the High Street, invited three long-serving members of staff to cut the ribbons on a new climbing frame.
Isabel Tatnell, Josie Green and Lily McCloud, who have all worked at the pre-school group since it was set up with Royston school more than 30 years ago, were presented with flowers.

Co-leader Lorraine Leon said: “The children really enjoy playing on it and they haven't fought over it once so far!”
