AN 'INCIDENT' at a Haverfordwest primary school did not involve anyone entering the school premises nor any pupil leaving, the county council has said.
Parents of children at Glan Cleddau school received a letter this week, relating to an event which "caused great concern" last Friday (July 13).
Headteacher Mr Davies said the situation was "properly managed, and specialist professional advice has been arranged for all relevant pupils".
A spokesman for Pembrokeshire County Council today said: "The local authority responded to an incident at Ysgol Gymraeg Glan Cleddau, Haverfordwest, on Friday, which was reported anonymously.
"The local authority addressed the concern with the school which had dealt appropriately with the circumstance and in line with local authority advice and support.
"The incident only affected a small number of pupils whose parents were aware of the situation.
"At no time were other pupils in the school affected.
"The incident did not involve any person entering the school premises nor any pupil leaving.
"We will not be making any further comment on this matter."
