MEMBERS of a Malvern camera club focused on maybe their toughest challenge yet, when they took on the notorious Eggheads.
Trevor Bell Mike Gast, Ian Thompson, Colin Walls, Cliff Williams and Peter Warner, of Beacon Camera Club, travelled to Glasgow to tackle one of the toughest quiz teams in the land, under their team name Pixel Peppers.
Trevor Bell, who captained the team, said: "The team first auditioned in Birmingham before going to Scotland.
"We were looked after very well during our visit, especially in the few hours before the recording when tension was mounting and nerves were stretched.
"The Eggheads themselves were charming, and Jeremy Vine was very good at putting all of us at ease.
"We were satisfied with our performance and the outcome of the contest."
