PEOPLE across the county were awarded a rather special certificate, after completing a course to help them relate their Christian faith to everyday life.

Around 60 people from Belbroughton, Old Hill, The Teme Valley, Evesham, Pershore, Stourport, Kidderminster and Worcester completed the Bishop's Certificate Course, covering subjects such as the Creeds, the Old and New Testaments and the Holy Spirit.

The certificates were presented by Bishop of Dudley, Graham Usher.

He said: "Receiving your Bishop’s Certificate is a fantastic achievement and I hope that over the 30 weeks of study they have drawn closer to Christ.

"Whether this is just the beginning of an incredible adventure or the continuation of a lifelong journey, they are now at a turning point.

"I hope you will consider what God is asking of you next. Well done to everyone."
