THERE will be Easter events galore this Bank Holiday weekend at Hampton Ferry in Evesham with much of what's going on raising money for the Olivia's Dream campaign.

The fundraising appeal for eight-year-old Olivia Hancock is set to get a welcome boost this weekend helping it towards its total of £50,000.

The money, about £8,200 of which has been raised so far, will go towards paying for much needed aftercare for Olivia who has cerebral palsy spastic diplegia and is set to receive a life changing operation that could see her walk unaided.

The first event, Raphael's Perfect Afternoon Tea, is taking place at Hampton Ferry is on Friday (April 3) from 2.30pm until 5.30pm, when Diana Raphael will host a talk about her life.

On Saturday there will be a night at the snail races, from 8pm.

On Bank Holiday Monday there will be a day of fun, with charity stalls in aid of Olivia's Dream.

There will also be an Easter bonnet parade, a colouring competition, face painting and a free Easter egg hunt.
