WEST Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) has launched a series of information sheets for people with learning disabilities.

The sheets have been designed to make the service more accessible to everyone.

WMAS deputy chief executive, Diane Scott, said: “Being able to communicate with people in their hour of need is of the utmost importance for an organisation like ours.

"Hopefully we can ensure if the worse were to happen, people have had a chance to read and understand what is about to happen."

If you run a learning disability group and would like to work with the service, email maria.watson@wmas.nhs.uk or call 01384 215 555.
