AN event celebrating the success of those who have attended workshops at Number 8 in Pershore is set to take place in Pershore Library.
Sue Johnson has been offering writing workshops at Number 8 and has been a self-employed writer for ten years.
This has inspired her to look back at some of the work which has come out of the workshops she holds at Stories from Number 8 on Thursday, April 16, at 7pm.
She said: "I was inspired to organise something because this is my tenth year as a self-employed writer and I also wanted to celebrate the success of some of those who have attended my workshops at Number 8 Community Arts Centre over this time.
"It involves some inspirational authors like Sue Watson, Love, Lies & Lemon Cake, and D M Harrison, who writes Black Horse westerns.
"There will be short talks, poetry, a chance to ask questions and there will be signed copies of books available."
If anyone would like further information or to book a place they should contact Sue on 01386 446477. The event is free but organisers need to know numbers for tea and coffee.
People can also email the library pershorelib@worcestershire.gov.uk.
