A COMPETITION has been launched to find the top hairdresser in Worcester and surrounding areas.
Salons and stylists are being invited to enter the Worcester News Hairdresser of the Year 2015 contest and stake their claim to being the best of the best.
Each participating business or individual will be tasked with giving a member of the public a hair makeover, with imaginative and out-of-the-ordinary coiffure creations particularly encouraged.
Before and after pictures will be published in the Worcester News, showcasing the entrant's handiwork.
Readers will then be able to vote for their favourite haircut transformation - and the entry with the most votes will be crowned champion.

The Worcester News is also looking for people interested in receiving a free makeover from one of the participating salons.
To put your name forward – providing you are willing for before and after photographs to be published in the newspaper – text 80360 with your name, address and a contact number.
