AN AFTERNOON of fun for all the family is being held at a Quarry Bank pub this weekend, raising money for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
The Church Tavern, in High Street, is hosting the fundraising event on Sunday (September 6), featuring a number of fun activities lasting into the evening.
Starting at noon, the event includes a disco, karaoke and a resident DJ, as well as a prize raffle, with organisers asking guests to attend the fundraiser in fancy dress.
Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, based in Lye, supports the air ambulances which perform more than 2,000 missions a year, needing to raise a minimum of £6.5m per year to keep its three helicopters manned and operational.
