A NORTH Bromsgrove High School pupil has been chosen to play for West Midlands Warriors in the national Netball Performance League.
PE student Alice Walters will be playing with and against the country’s best netball players aged 14 to 19 years old.
17-year-old Alice said: “I’ve played netball for local clubs and also the country side but this is an exciting step up for me. I’m really looking forward to challenging myself against some of the country’s best teenage players.”
The teen is currently studying A-Level maths, biology and PE studies but also has her sights set on achieving her goal of representing the country.
She added: “I love the sport and it would be a dream to play in the Super League or even to represent England.”
Alice's new team beat the Welsh Junior Dragons 53-38 on Saturday, February 6.
