RESIDENTS are being reminded that they may see some disruption over the coming weeks, as works continue on Hanover Street Car Park.
The car park will be closed indefinitely from Thursday evening to allow the site to be developed for the new Waitrose store.
Contractors are advising drivers not to attempt to park in the car park from this time to avoid any issues.
Bromsgrove District Council has agreed that any permits for this car park will be valid in any of the council's other car parks until their date of expiration.
Cllr Geoff Denaro said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused to residents during this time but this is also a very exciting time for the redevelopment of this area of the town centre, which we hope will benefit the whole town.”
Information on alternative car parks is available on the council website.
