MUSICAL talent was at the forefront of this year's Morton Stanley Festival.

Thousands of people turned out for the event, held last weekend, which included a number of local and no so local bands.

Acoustic act The Rock Bottoms, originally from Astwood Bank, headlined on Saturday, alongside instrumental group Spiro, while on Sunday The After Hours and alternative band Nizlopi, famous for their number one hit The JCB Song, entertained the crowd.

Other acts included Redditch favourite Stuart Woolfenden, Better Than Never, Drift, Dagtail Lane, and The Purple Shades.
