CHASE teacher Olivia Levez will be launching her new book with an event at the Malvern school next week.
The novel aimed at young adults, entitled The Circus, is her second book, telling the story of Willow, a runaway who is determined to find her circus-performing mother.
She will be launching it at the library at the Geraldine Road school on Thursday, May 4, and students will be designing, preparing and serving circus-themed food as well as performing circus tricks to promote the book,.
Her first book, The Island, was published in March last year.
Mrs Levez said: “The Chase has a stunning library, with an English department and librarian who are passionate about books, and I could think of no better venue.”
The Malvern Book Co-Op will also be at the launch to sell signed copies, and art students are going to design a circus-themed window display at its St Ann's Road shop.
Anybody wanting to attend the launch should contact olivialevez@hotmail.co.uk.
