A TEENAGER has appeared in court, charged with sex crimes involving an underage girl at a hotel in Wychbold, near Bromsgrove.
Kirk Mason, 19, of Southfield Drive, Bolton, faced three charges when he appeared at Worcester Crown Court on Thursday (May 25).
He is accused of causing or inciting a child under 16 (a girl aged 14) to engage in sexual activity between February 5 and September 1 last year, when he knew or did not reasonably believe she was over the age of 16.
Mason is further charged with the abduction of a child between August 30 and September 2 last year without lawful authority or reasonable excuse, as well as sexual activity with a child between February 5 and September 1 last year.
The case was placed in a warned list for the week commencing September 4 and the trial is expected to last three days, taking place at either Worcester or Hereford Crown Court.
