POLICE seized an estimated £2,000 worth of class A drugs heroin and crack cocaine at services near Worcester before arresting a suspected drug dealer.

Officers from the Central Motorway Police Group arrested a 35-year-old man at Strensham Services, off the southbound carriageway of the M5, south of Worcester, in the early hours of this morning.

He was said by police to be acting suspiciously and a search of a car by officers revealed the drugs in the front of the vehicle.

Police seized a quantity of class A drugs (heroin and crack cocaine) after carrying out the search at around 3.30am this morning (Wednesday).

The suspect was taken to Worcester Police Station to be interviewed as investigations continue.

He is expected to be interviewed later today police confirmed.
