A NEW gym has opened at the £20 million Cathedral Square.

Entrepreneur Stuart Rosenberg opened his Fitness4Less gym to the public on Monday afternoon.

The state-of-the-art facility features professional fitness equipment, studio spaces, a spin studio, a 15 metre pool, a sauna and steam room and a ladies only gym.

The Worcester gym is one of three franchise clubs owned by Stuart Rosenberg, who also runs two successful Fitness4Less clubs in London.

Birmingham City Football Club team captain, and current assistant manager, Paul Robinson attended and cut the ribbon to officially open the new facility.

Mr Rosenberg said: "My enthusiastic team is very excited to be launching this new gym in Worcester’s vibrant city centre.

"The opening has gone really well.

"Equipment here is top of the range, we would encourage Worcester residents to come and see us."

He added there was no joining fee until the end of October, and the opening hours are 6am until 11 Monday to Thursday, 6am until 10pm on Fridays, and 8am until 8pm on weekends.

Manager Arran Arogundade added there was more than 50 classes, for all ages and abilities, including people who had never previously been to a gym.

Mr Robinson said: "It is fantastic to cut the ribbon.

"The location it is in a great spot - the facility is very impressive.

"It is great there are these local gyms people can go to.

"Physical exercise is so important.

"It keeps you healthy, keeps you fit, and keeps the brain active as well.

"I wish the guys here well."
