AN email has been sent out warning parents to be wary after a man is believed to have approached a young girl.
The email was shared on a number of Facebook accounts to various groups including Chipping Campden Noticeboard warning parents to be on their guard.
It said: "A young girl walking past his (the man acting suspiciously) car was stopped and asked the time.
"He then tried to engage her in further conversation, including asking which school she attended.
"Could parents please remind their children of the need to be vigilant and aware of stranger danger."
A West Mercia Police spokesman said: "Police received a report on 9 November at approximately 4:20pm of man behaving suspiciously on chapel Street, Evesham.
"Investigations are currently ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident number 536s of 9 November."
