POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a crash, which left a driver in a "critical" condition.

A silver Toyota left the carriageway of the B4220 road, near Bringsty, Worcester, and collided with a tree and a barrier, just after 1.20pm on Sunday, December 3.

The driver, a 26-year-old man suffered serious injuries to his neck and was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.

His condition is described as "critical but stable".

The car was travelling in the direction of Bromyard.

Enquiries are currently ongoing but police would like to speak with any witnesses to the incident or people who saw the vehicle and the manner in which it was being driven prior to the collision.
