BUDGET supermarket Aldi will re-open tomorrow at 8am following a refurbishment.

The store in Eign Street in Hereford has been closed since last week for the update.

The transformation is part of Aldi’s £300m investment into improving its stores and service across the UK, and is based on customer feedback.

New features include a "Food to go" section at the front, relocation of fresh bakery items to the final aisle and relocation of alcohol into a dedicated fixture along the back wall.

The store employs 36 members of the community and the refurbishment has created an additional two jobs.
