A YOUNG team from Hereford will be showing how they make a change in their community.
The people from the National Citizen Service (NCS) will be at Bartestree Village Hall between 11am and 3pm on Wednesday.
The charity event has been set up by a group of 16-year-olds in aid of helping disadvantaged families and children and to boost their community.
Entertainment on the day includes a tombola, bouncy castle, face painting and a bake sale.
Entry to the event on Wednesday will be free but the prices of each activity will vary.
The event is in aid of the charity HOPE.
Amie Orton, a member of the NCS team, said: ‘HOPE is a charity that helps children dealing with bereavement or have a close relative which is suffering with a terminal illness.’
The team is primarily inviting foster families and disadvantaged families, but everyone is still welcome to attend the event as ‘equality is needed’, Ms Orton said.
As well as the charity event, the NCS Team 5 have participated in other work to raise money and help the community such as litter picks.
