"Two hose reel jets are being used and two firefighters with breathing apparatus.

"Police are also in attendance."

It's not believed anyone was injured. Eyewitness Ash Winter said an ambulance passed the scene but left shortly after and West Midlands Ambulance Service said it had not treated any patients.

The road has since reopened as the vehicle has been recovered and police have left the scene.

A Herefordshire Council spokesperson said granules were laid as an interim measure until a sweeper could clear debris from the road.

"A sweeper has now attended and cleared debris from the carriageway," they said.

"More granules have been laid and these will be swept tomorrow morning. The road is now fully open."
