LIFE-SAVING pet oxygen masks have been designed and given to a fire station.
Animals at Home in the Cotswolds have donated a set of specially designed masks to Moreton Community Fire Station.
These masks are proven to save pets and they help to prevent pets dying from smoke inhalation in house fires.
The fire service tries to revive pets using human oxygen masks but these are not designed for use on animals.
Pet oxygen masks are specifically designed for dogs, cats and smaller animals such as rabbits and snakes and therefore are more efficient than trying to use human masks.
By using the set of masks donated, the fire service can assist pets at the fire incident without having to learn new skills or buying extra equipment.
Every pet deserves the best chance of survival.
