POLICE say they have been made aware of a small fire at a play area in Hereford.
A crew of firefighters from Hereford put out the flames at Westfields Recreation Ground, on Chatsworth Road, at around 5.30pm on Sunday.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "Police were made aware of a report of fires at Westfield Recreation Ground on Chatsworth Road in Hereford shortly before 5.30pm yesterday.
"The fire service attended and an officer from the Safer Neighbourhood Team also attended."
