MILLS across Herefordshire will be opening their doors for visitors during a weekend in May.
As part of his year's National Mills Weekend on May 13 and 14, there will be 14 mills open in the county and three of them will be grinding corn.
This year’s theme, Engineers and Engineering, will celebrate the engineers and millwrights who built our country’s mills and their machinery, and the millwrights of today who continue this ancient craft.
The mills taking part which are open on the Saturday only are: Pontynys Mill, Longtown; Clenchers Mill, Eastnor; Olchon House Mill, Llanveynoe; Home Farm, Dulas; and Fair Oak Farm in Bacton.
The mills which are open on both days are: Court of Noke Mill, near Staunton-on-Arrow; Mordiford Mill; and Clodock Mill, near Longtown.
And those open only on the Sunday are: Arrow Mill, Kingsland; Rowlestone Mill, near Ewyas Harold; Crowards Mill, Eyton; Yarpole Mill; Archer's Mill, now the Clover Mill Spa Retreat in Cradley; and Newchurch Mill, Kinnersley.
